Spanish–English Kindergarten worksheets

Letter sounds, sight words and name writing — with the same ten pictures in two languages.

Spanish–English is the pairing most US dual-language, transitional bilingual and newcomer programmes ask for. Every theme on this site carries a Spanish word for each picture, with accents preserved in print (pájaro, camión, mañana) so children see the spelling their reading books use.

Kindergarten is where print starts to matter. Use the tracing maker for name practice and letter formation, the flashcard page for sight words, and the word-search maker with uppercase letters and no diagonals. Keep the same ten pictures for the week so the vocabulary becomes automatic.

What to practise in kindergarten

  • Name writing and letter formation
  • Letter sounds and beginning blends
  • Sight words in both languages
  • Counting and number recognition to 20

A one-week plan

Monday: name tracing + picture cards. Tuesday: letter-sound sort. Wednesday: sight-word flashcards. Thursday: counting sheet. Friday: easy word search + bingo review.

Questions

Are these Spanish–English kindergarten worksheets free?

Yes. Every worksheet, flashcard set and PDF pack is free for classroom and personal use. There is no account and no watermark.

Do I need to speak Spanish?

No. The pictures carry the meaning and both languages are printed on the page, so a monolingual teacher or parent can run the activity.

Which worksheets should I start with?

Start with the picture cards for the theme, then the matching sheet as an exit ticket, and finish the week with the word search.
