Spanish–English 3rd grade worksheets

Content vocabulary, prefixes and multiplication — for classrooms where English is the second language of half the room.

Spanish–English is the pairing most US dual-language, transitional bilingual and newcomer programmes ask for. Every theme on this site carries a Spanish word for each picture, with accents preserved in print (pájaro, camión, mañana) so children see the spelling their reading books use.

By third grade the vocabulary is content-heavy: science, social studies and maths terms. Use the theme sets as a starting point, then swap in the week's content words through the custom list. The word search hard mode, word–word matching and multiplication drills make good independent stations.

Questions

Are these Spanish–English 3rd grade worksheets free?

Yes. Every worksheet, flashcard set and PDF pack is free for classroom and personal use. There is no account and no watermark.

Do I need to speak Spanish?

No. The pictures carry the meaning and both languages are printed on the page, so a monolingual teacher or parent can run the activity.

Which worksheets should I start with?

Start with the picture cards for the theme, then the matching sheet as an exit ticket, and finish the week with the word search.
