Spanish–English 2nd grade worksheets
Vocabulary in context, digraphs and place value — with answer keys for independent checking.
Spanish–English is the pairing most US dual-language, transitional bilingual and newcomer programmes ask for. Every theme on this site carries a Spanish word for each picture, with accents preserved in print (pájaro, camión, mañana) so children see the spelling their reading books use.
Second graders can work more independently. Give them the medium word search (with diagonals), the word–word matching sheet and the math maker at a higher range. Ask them to write one sentence per picture in the target language and check each other's spelling against the word bank.

Are these Spanish–English 2nd grade worksheets free?
Yes. Every worksheet, flashcard set and PDF pack is free for classroom and personal use. There is no account and no watermark.
Do I need to speak Spanish?
No. The pictures carry the meaning and both languages are printed on the page, so a monolingual teacher or parent can run the activity.
Which worksheets should I start with?
Start with the picture cards for the theme, then the matching sheet as an exit ticket, and finish the week with the word search.
