How to use this maker

  1. Pick a word set. Choose one of the 52 themes or leave “All themes / custom list” selected and type your own words.
  2. Choose your two languages. Language A is the instruction language; Language B is the vocabulary children practise.
  3. Shuffle and print. Press Shuffle for a fresh layout, then Print / Save as PDF. Answer keys print on a separate page when available.

Teacher notes

For younger learners, start with Easy grids (across and down only) and 8–10 words. For newcomers, print the picture-only flashcard face and ask children to name the picture in the target language before showing the word. For Chinese, pair the character card with the pinyin card so tone marks stay visible.

Questions

Is this maker free to use in my classroom?

Yes. You can print as many copies as you need for your own students, and you can save the PDF and share it with your class.

Can I type my own words instead of using a theme?

Yes. Leave the word set on “All themes / custom list” and type one word per line. Accents, spaces and hyphens are handled.

Does it work on a phone or tablet?

The makers work in mobile browsers, but printing is easiest from a laptop or classroom computer. You can always save the PDF on a phone and print it later.
