What you can print
Sight words are the irregular words children should recognise instantly, without sounding out. The set is organised by Dolch grade so you can print a week at a time:
- Word pages — one page per word with tracing, reading and a sentence prompt.
- Flashcards — eight cards per page, grouped by grade.
- Tracing pack — trace-then-write rows for the whole list.
- Word search — find the same words in a grid, with an answer key.

Order to teach
Follow the Dolch order: pre-K, kindergarten, first, second, third grade. Five new words a week is enough; review the previous week before adding more. Pair sight words with phonics so children get both decoding and instant recognition.
Printing tips
Print flashcards on card stock and cut along the guides. Word pages print two to a sheet if you choose “2 pages per sheet” in the print dialog.
