Ages 3–4
Preschool bilingual worksheets
Pictures first, letters second. Ten-word sets, large cards and easy grids for the first years of school.
At three and four, the goal is meaning and sounds, not spelling. Print the picture-only flashcard face, name the picture in one or both languages, and let the child point. Add the word side only when they ask. A word search with six to eight short words and no diagonals is enough for the oldest preschoolers.
What to practise this year

Questions
Should preschoolers do word searches?
Only the easiest version — across and down, six to eight short words, uppercase letters. The point is finding and naming, not speed.
How many words per week?
Five to eight. Repetition beats volume at this age.
