Christmas worksheets for kids

Christmas vocabulary in English and Spanish — picture cards, word search, tracing and a four-page PDF for the last weeks of term.

December lessons are short and noisy. This set is designed for ten-minute slots: one picture card game, one word search, one tracing page. The same ten words repeat across all four activities, and every card carries English and Spanish.

Three ways to use it

  1. Wish-list labelling. Children draw three wishes and label them with the picture cards: tree, star, gift, snow.
  2. Memory pairs. Print two copies of the cards, turn them face down and match picture to picture, saying the word each time.
  3. Stocking sort. Sort cards by “inside the house” and “outside”, then count each group.

Questions

Is this religious or secular?

Secular: tree, star, gift, snow, cookie, Santa. It does not include religious instruction.

Can I use it in a non-Christmas classroom?

The winter words (snow, star, gift) work in many classrooms; skip the Santa card if it does not fit.

What age is it for?

Preschool to second grade.
